INTRODUCTION

This module is designed specifically for the contractors involved in the construction and is keen to maximize benefits from new construction industry technology, exceptionally Building Information Modelling (BIM). The program explains and discusses BIM for contractors, its benefits to the organizations, challenges and opportunities, case studies, and the implementation. The participants will discuss the cost-saving benefits of BIM deployment on their organizations, e.g. their work practices, contracts, IT infrastructure, and skills development. This module is divided into three sections:

1. Section 1: BIM General Concept
2. Section 2: BIM Application for Contractor
3. Section 3: BIM Contract Requirement

HOW TO ACCESS?

1. The training admin will register your username and provide a temporary password.
2. Participants will receive an email after registration.
3. Log in to www.elearning.mybimcentre.com.my using the username and temporary password provided via email.
4. Participants are authorized to access the portal for 365 days after registration.
5. Participants must complete all quizzes in the portal to receive the completion certificate.
6. Participants can proceed at their own pace to complete the course.
