The developments of the module outcome are based on the international and local standards' scope of works, defined for BIM coordinator roles and responsibilities. It is therefore, targeted at skill sets to develop competency in hands-on technical skill, BIM knowledge and pro-active problem solving which tailored to suit local requirement. Upon successful completion of this module, the participants are expected to be able to: 

• Describe the flow of technical work processes for BIM model coordination
• Open and append BIM file models from various sources and store them in the model management software.
• Describe the use of BIM models to check on the intent of the design
• Perform visual reviews of the project models and use of report function
• Review and audit the accuracy and adequacy of the information stored in BIM models.
• Implement the model collision test produced by various parties
• Prepare reports for clash review and model audits.
• Verify all model coordination issues and prepare coordinated model reports.

Pre-Requisite

1. Has completed BIM Concept & Theory
2. Has completed BIM Coordinator Part 1
3. 3 years working experience in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction (AEC) related field or 3 years working experience in teaching final year subject in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction (AEC) related degree course
4. Diploma or Degree Holder Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction (AEC) related course
5. Has completed related BIM Modelling or any BIM technical modelling software
6. Knowledgeable in Architecture/ Engineering/ Construction (AEC)
