BIM Manager Part 2

This module on Building Information Modelling (BIM) Implementation and Management is specifically designed for senior construction professionals and is divided into two parts. Part 2 is the extension of Part 1, which covers Process, People and Organisation of BIM. Participants will be exposed to and learn how to develop process maps, which are essential for the development of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Participants will also be given explanations on the collaboration concepts of Common Data Environment (CDE) and how the collaboration can be implemented using collaborative technology.

Course Outcome

Pre-Requisite

  1. Has completed BIM Concept & Theory
  2. Has completed BIM Manager Part 1
  3. 5 years working experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) related field OR 5 years working experience in teaching final year subject in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) related degree course
  4. Diploma or Degree Holder Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) related course
  5. Tacit knowledge of BIM tools & concept
  6. Knowledgeable in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC)
